About Dr. Anil Kumar
Dr. Anil Kumar is presently State Project Administrator of State Project Implementation Unit, Uttar Pradesh for implementation TEQIP-III projects under Ministry of Education, GoI (a World Bank Project on Technical Education) working for addressing the issue of quality, accreditation, autonomy, excellence, Research and Innovation, Collaborative Research, equity, skill development, employability, ICT integration, future skills, accreditation, innovations and entrepreneurship, industry-institute partnership, mentoring and performance audit, faculty, facilities and infrastructures of 16 government degree technical institutions as well as Affiliating technical University, Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University.
Three Master’s Degree
He is Ph. D. in Environment with three Master’s Degree – Master of Engineering (IIT Roorkee), M. Sc. in Disaster Mitigation and Master of Ecology & Environment. He is a gold medalist at Bachelors’ in Civil Engineering level.
36(+) years of experience
He is having 36(+) years of experience in technical education management at national level, top level general and academic administration, examination, education and accreditation, Research and Innovation. He has been closely working with International Engineering Alliance, was Secretary of Indian Register of International Professional Engineers, dealing with the various Engineering Divisions at national level and part of the Indian Engineering Congress for seven Years. Has been closely associated with publication of technical journals from IEI.
He is recipient of Certificate of Merit by UNESCO, Jharkhand Ratna Samman, Vikas Mitra and many more awards. Have worked as UNESCO Fellow at IIT Roorkee, Superintending Engineer in Damodar Valley Corporation, Deputy Director General in Institution of Engineers, Deputy Director in AICTE. He has been environmental activist and worked extensively for water conservation in Jharkhand. He is a social activist as well and is very alert to the issues of Indian culture and national security.
